Textile Print Design Intern

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Print & Textile Designer to join our dynamic team at Navkar. The ideal candidate will come from a reputed apparel mill or brand and possess a deep understanding of woven textile design, with strong conceptual and technical abilities to drive innovation in fabric development.

* Mood Board & Story Creation:

Develop seasonal mood boards and trend-based storylines aligned with global market research, brand direction, and buyer/client briefs.

* CAD Concepts & Product Development:

Translate creative concepts into production-ready Print CAD. Work closely with the product development team to create innovative and commercially viable fabrics.

* Client Presentation:

Prepare and present fabric stories, design concepts, and developments to internal teams and external buyers/clients.

* Mill Coordination:

Collaborate with the internal print team, to ensure timely development and sampling.

* Trend Research:

Continuously monitor fashion and Print trends, forecast upcoming directions, and incorporate them into woven designs.textile design, with strong conceptual and technical abilities to drive innovation in fabric development.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

* Education - Bachelor of Textile - NIFT

* 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Print & graphic design at a reputed Mill or apparel brand.

* Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.

* Good communication and presentation skills.
