Textile Engineer

Description:

Nortal Corporation is expanding its business in the textile dyes and chemicals sector and is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Textile Engineer to lead the sales and business development of our dyes and chemicals portfolio in Pakistan (Punjab Region).

This is a specialist position dedicated exclusively to textile dyes and chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of textile dyes and chemicals to textile mills.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with textile processing and dyeing units.
• Regularly visit dyeing, processing and finishing mills to understand their requirements.
• Identify new customers and develop existing accounts.
• Work closely with dyeing and processing departments to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate products.
• Conduct product presentations, trials and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate product trials and follow up on results and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and close sales.
• Maintain regular communication with international suppliers regarding technical and commercial matters.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products and pricing.
• Achieve agreed sales and business-development targets.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in textile dyes and chemicals is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of textile dyeing and finishing processes.
• Experience dealing with dyeing/processing managers, production teams and textile mill management.
• Strong technical-sales and business-development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded and target-oriented.
• Willingness to travel extensively to textile mills in Lahore and Faislabad.
• Existing relationships with textile processing and dyeing mills will be a significant advantage.
• Valid driving license and ability to travel independently.
