Description:

Role Description The Technical Writer (Junior) will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-focused technical documentation for Hoboetech’s products and platforms. This full-time on-site role, based in Lahore, involves working closely with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to understand features, workflows, and technical concepts. Day-to-day tasks include drafting user guides and manuals, updating online help content, organizing documentation sets, and ensuring consistency in terminology and style. The role also includes reviewing and revising existing documents, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and supporting release notes and knowledge-base articles. The Technical Writer (Junior) will contribute to documentation standards and help improve information architecture for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in technical communication and technical writing, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise content.
• Experience creating and organizing technical documentation, including user guides, process flows, and reference materials.
• Ability to develop, structure, and maintain manuals and instructional materials in line with documentation standards.
• Proficiency in English writing and editing, with attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy.
• Familiarity with software development or IT environments; exposure to AI, IoT, or web technologies is a plus.
• Comfort working on-site in Lahore, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple documentation tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic knowledge of documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, HTML, wiki systems, or help authoring tools) and version control concepts.
