Technical Support Engineer

 

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a NOC/Technical Support Engineer located in Lahore District. The NOC/Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for network administration, network engineering, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring network security. Day-to-day tasks will involve maintaining and monitoring network performance with a NMS system (PRTG), managing PRTG, resolving technical issues efficiently, maintaining and updating network infrastructure, hardware configurations (Cisco switches, Mikrotik Routers), and collaborating with other teams to ensure a secure and efficient network environment and on-call availability for critical issues.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • CCNA/MTCNA + 1 to 2 Year experience in relevant field
  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering
  • Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices
  • Familiarity with tools like PRTG, Cacti, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or equivalent NMS systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
