Technical Project Engineer

Description:

Clipsal is urgently seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Project Engineer to join their team at the Head Office in Karachi. This role is crucial for managing smart automation projects, with a focus on Smart Home Automation, Lighting Control Systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS). The ideal candidate will take full technical ownership, driving projects independently from initial design to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of automation projects involving BMS and lighting control systems.

• Work extensively with industry-standard smart automation technologies including KNX, Crestron, and microcontroller-based systems.

• Conduct site surveys, supervise installations, perform system integration, and oversee commissioning processes to ensure successful project delivery.

• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and project execution.

• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, system schematics, and provide post-installation support to clients.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends and innovations in smart home automation and recommend cutting-edge solutions to improve project outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• 1 to 2 years of practical experience working with BMS, lighting control, smart automation, or system integration.

• Strong knowledge of KNX, Crestron, and other smart home automation technologies.

• Proven ability to lead projects with minimal supervision and deliver results on schedule.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
