Structural Engineer

Description:

AM Associates is looking for a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Structural Engineer – BBS & Shop Drawing Specialist for its ongoing Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (KBRT) Project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) based on approved structural drawings.
• Develop, review, and update Shop Drawings in coordination with design and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Incorporate site revisions and design modifications promptly.
• Support execution teams with accurate drawings and reinforcement details.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in BBS preparation and Shop Drawing development for infrastructure or large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and related drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing and construction methods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
