Static Equipment Design Engineer

Description:

The Static Equipment Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing static mechanical equipment such as vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and structural components in line with project requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day activities include preparing detailed engineering drawings and specifications, performing mechanical and structural calculations, and using CAD tools to create and revise design models. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing technical documents, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory codes, and supporting fabrication. The Static Equipment Design Engineer will also participate in design reviews, address technical queries, and contribute to continuous improvement in design practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Experience in designing of static equipment.
• Have good grip over ASME Section VIII Division 1 and TEMA.
• Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills, with the ability to develop and optimize static equipment solutions.
• Have Expertise in the design software like Codeware Compress or PV Elite.
• Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, including stress analysis, materials selection, and familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed models, drawings, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.
