Description:
We are looking for a skilled SQA Engineer who also brings hands-on Project Management experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality while coordinating teams, tracking project progress, and supporting smooth delivery cycles. This is a hybrid role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage timelines effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Quality Assurance
- Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing as required.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using relevant tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects and ensure product stability.
- Ensure QA processes, standards, and best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Validate deliverables against requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
Project Management
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination across teams.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively.
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and expectations with stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth sprint execution and timely delivery of milestones.
- Facilitate meetings (daily standups, review meetings, sprint planning, etc.).
- Support documentation of project requirements, workflows, and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in SQA, with hands-on project coordination/management experience.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Basic familiarity with automation testing is a plus.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Understanding of API testing tools like Postman.
- Ability to document processes, test cases, and reports clearly.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
