Description:
Bloom Academy by KVTC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Karachi.
The role involves assessing and supporting students with speech, language, communication, and related needs through individualized therapy and evidence-based intervention. The therapist will work closely with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other therapists to support each student’s communication development and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, pronunciation, receptive and expressive language, and communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress through accurate therapy records and reports.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and therapists to develop effective support strategies.
- Provide communication strategies and classroom recommendations to support student participation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and progress reviews.
- Guide parents and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
- Contribute to individualized goals and intervention plans.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech Therapy preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills.
- Experience working with children/students in a multidisciplinary setting is an advantage.
- Work Location: On-site, Karachi.
