Description:
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will have the opportunity to ensure the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of cloud infrastructure while maintaining critical data pipelines across multiple industries such as Logistics Marketplace Platforms, finance, healthcare, retail, and more. You'll collaborate with a talented team of developers, designers, and engineers who are passionate about building high-performance, scalable, and secure software systems.
Requirements:
Proficiency in the following technologies:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) in production
- Cloud Run, Compute Engine & Cloud Functions
- Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- BigQuery, Cloud Storage & Firestore
- Pub/Sub, Dataflow / Apache Beam
- Python & Bash scripting
- Docker & Kubernetes
- GitHub Actions & CI/CD pipelines
- SQL & large-scale data management
- Strong Linux system administration
Additional Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or Platform Engineering
- Strong experience designing and improving monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Experience managing production incidents and performing root cause analysis
- Experience maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines (ETL/ELT workflows)
- Ability to build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and automate repetitive operational tasks
- Familiarity with SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, IAM, and cloud security best practices
- Experience with cost optimization in cloud environments (Google Cloud Professional certifications are a plus)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST, Tuesday through Saturday
