Servicenow Developer

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site ServiceNow Developer role based in Punjab, Pakistan. The ServiceNow Developer will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to support internal and client-facing business processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring modules, building custom applications and scripts, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and providing ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements. The developer will also contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of GEN-O2’s ServiceNow-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including scripting and automation relevant to ServiceNow.
• Relevant experience with ServiceNow platform development (e.g., custom applications, integrations, workflows, and UI policies) is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs, and familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) is preferred.
• Ability to analyze requirements, produce clear technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with ITSM, ITIL concepts, or enterprise workflow platforms, and a commitment to secure, high-quality, maintainable code.
