Description:
We are seeking a strategic and user-obsessed Product Designer with 3-5 years of experience. You will be responsible for the entire design journey—from discovering user problems and conceptualizing solutions to crafting beautiful, intuitive interfaces and measuring success. While expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, we value your ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and articulate design decisions just as highly. Experience in video production is a valuable bonus for creating compelling product narratives.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver experiences that are not only visually stunning but also drive real business value and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Design Ownership: Lead the design process from initial research and discovery through concepting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and post-launch iteration.
- User Research & Strategy: Conduct and synthesize user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing) to identify pain points, validate concepts, and inform the product strategy.
- Problem Framing: Collaborate with product managers to define problems and opportunities, helping to shape the product roadmap.
- Articulate Design Solutions: Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes (primarily using Figma) to effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
- High-Fidelity UI Design: Produce pixel-perfect visual designs, design systems, and specifications for development, ensuring a consistent and on-brand user experience across all platforms.
- Video Storytelling: Utilize video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) to create high-impact videos for product demos, user onboarding, and marketing materials.
- Collaboration & Advocacy: Work hand-in-hand with developers to ensure faithful implementation of designs and be a steadfast advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Iterate Based on Data: Use qualitative feedback and quantitative data to analyze product performance and recommend iterative design improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your process and impact on web and mobile products.
- Proficiency in Figma is mandatory for prototyping and UI design.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Solid experience in user research methodologies and usability principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and team members.
- A strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles (typography, color, layout).
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
- Bonus: Experience with motion design or creating micro-interactions.
