Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across our software development and consulting engagements. In this role, you will own test strategy and execution, build robust automated testing frameworks, and act as the quality gatekeeper across multiple client projects as well as internal products. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and clients to define acceptance criteria, identify defects early, and drive a culture of quality throughout the SDLC. This role is ideal for a QA professional who takes pride in building scalable testing solutions and mentoring others.
Responsibilities
- Strong English language written and oral communication skills.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web, API, and mobile applications
- Define and own test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and regression cycles
- Lead QA efforts for complex, multi-tier software projects from requirements gathering through production release
- Perform manual exploratory, functional, regression, and performance testing as needed
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and shift quality left
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid delivery
- Triage, document, and track defects through to resolution using defect management tools
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers, establishing standards and best practices across the QA team
Requirements
- 6+ years of QA engineering experience, including significant automation expertise
- Proficiency in at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
- Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery practices
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail
