Senior Fashion Designer

Description:

An Islamabad-based luxury pret fashion brand is looking to hire a Senior Fashion Designer with a strong background in fashion retail and Eastern women's wear. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for an experienced creative professional who can deliver seasonal collections from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design seasonal collections by creating mood boards, sketches (both digital and manual), and detailed digital designs.

• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments that align with brand quality and aesthetic.

• Lead sampling and prototyping processes to ensure perfect garment fit and finish.

• Stay updated with the latest cultural, regional, and global fashion trends, especially in Eastern wear.

• Conduct research on fabrics and styles to ensure innovation and market relevance.

• Work collaboratively with fabric and production teams to meet design and production standards efficiently.

• Partner with marketing and merchandising departments to align creative output with brand strategy.

• Apply multihead embroidery knowledge to product design and detailing.

• Ensure quality control while maintaining cost-effective production standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in fashion retail companies.

• Strong ability to sketch manually and digitally.

• Knowledge of fabric selection and embellishment techniques.

• Strong coordination and team collaboration skills.

• Updated with modern and traditional fashion dynamics.
