Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics / Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems, embedded hardware, data acquisition, and process automation. This role requires deep technical expertise and practical experience in integrating electronics, sensors, PLCs, and software to build reliable, scalable industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement industrial automation and control systems, including hardware selection, signal interfacing, and control logic development.
- Develop and integrate electronic control circuits, sensor interfaces, and communication modules for industrial applications.
- Configure, program, and optimize PLC, HMI, and industrial controllers for automation workflows.
- Build and deploy real-time monitoring and data acquisition systems, enabling data-driven insights from shop-floor machines.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into industrial equipment.
- Implement industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, RS-485, CAN, etc.) for multi-device interoperability.
- Oversee system commissioning, calibration, and troubleshooting of automation and control hardware.
- Design electrical panels, wiring diagrams, and control architecture compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Lead the deployment of supervisory and data monitoring systems (SCADA, IoT dashboards, or equivalent).
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional project teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on industrial experience in automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Strong command of PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, etc.).
- Experience with industrial sensors, actuators, VFDs, encoders, and servo drives.
- Deep understanding of control theory, process automation, and signal conditioning.
- Expertise in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and embedded system integration.
- Practical experience with industrial data acquisition systems and real-time monitoring.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, industrial networks, and IIoT platforms.
- Proven track record of commissioning and maintaining large-scale automation systems.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and project documentation skills.
