Senior Database Design Engineer

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Design Engineer to join our growing team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL, and expertise in migration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement scalable, ACID-compliant database schemas.

· Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning.

· Develop complex SQL scripts and support data-intensive operations.

· Lead data migration initiatives, including cross-platform migrations.

· Work with STIMA-based systems for structured migration and integration tasks.

· Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines for efficient data handling.

· Collaborate with backend and cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

· 5+ years of proven experience in database architecture and design.

· Expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

· Strong knowledge of STIMA tools and database migration strategies.

· Advanced skills in query optimization and performance tuning.

· Hands-on experience with ETL scripting and industry-standard ETL tools.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

· Experience in fintech or large-scale financial applications will be a plus.
