Senior Data Engineer

 

Description:

 

As the Lead Data Engineer, you will architect and develop production-grade data solutions, mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices. You will work closely with the Stack Head to ensure high-quality project delivery and foster the technical growth of the team.

 

𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

 

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and platforms.

 

• Build ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, Spark, DBT, Kafka, Databricks, and Snowflake.

 

• Develop cloud-based data solutions using AWS.

 

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

 

• Monitor and improve data quality, performance, and reliability.

 

• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering standards.

 

• Mentor junior engineers through coaching and technical guidance.

 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture and project delivery.

 

𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦

 

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

 

• Previous experience leading technical teams.

 

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and SparkSQL.

 

• Hands-on experience with DBT, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

 

• 3+ years of experience working with AWS services.

 

• Experience building scalable, production-grade data platforms.

 

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
