Sales And Procurement Engineer

Description:

OTC is an established engineering company serving Pakistan's industry largest end-users across oil & gas, power generation, food & beverage, chemicals, cement, and fertilizer. We supply mechanical and electrical products from leading international OEM principals and back them with commissioning and calibration support. We are hiring a Sales & Procurement Engineer who can own a deal from enquiry to delivery.

This is not a desk role for someone who waits for RFQs to land. We want a sharp, hands-on engineer who knows the plants, knows the products, and knows how to win.

What You'll Own (End-to-End)

You will run the full cycle — no handoffs, no excuses.

Sales side

• Chase and qualify enquiries and tenders from industrial end-users and EPCs
• Build technical offers, negotiate commercially, and close orders on healthy margins
• Grow and defend key accounts across your assigned sectors and regions

Procurement side

• Source competitively from principals and the open market
• Read technical specs, cross-reference part numbers, and confirm OEM fitment
• Manage lead times, payment terms, and back-to-back supply so orders land clean and on time

Who We're Looking For

• 3–7 years in industrial sales and/or procurement within Pakistan's process and power industries
• Strong technical grip on valves, actuators, pumps, motors, instrumentation, and general order supply of mechanical & electrical items
• Proven track record selling into (and buying for) oil & gas, power, food & beverage, and chemical plants
• Comfortable reading GA drawings, datasheets, and BOQs — and turning them into commercial wins
• Sharp negotiator, fast on numbers, disciplined on follow-up
• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) preferred; strong technical traders without a degree who can prove the results will still be considered
