Safe To Load Inspector

Description:

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer who conduct essential Safe to Load inspections on tank trucks used for fuel transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trucks, tanks integrity, mechanical systems and a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of tank trucks to verify their suitability for safe transportation of fuel.
• Assess vehicle components, including brakes, tires, hoses, and safety equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (OGRA, NHMP, Weight and Measure).
• Document inspection findings and generate detailed reports.
• Identify and report any issues or defects that may compromise safety.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical inspections or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
