Description:
The Revenue Operations Specialist is a Full Time (Remote) role responsible for supporting and optimising revenue performance across Oakwood BNB’s property portfolio. The specialist will collaborate with the management team to create SOPs, reporting dashboards, and ensure data integrity. Day-to-day tasks include preparing performance reports, identifying revenue opportunities, assisting with forecasting, and coordinating operations to align pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
Revenue
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering financial performance and revenue.
- Manage property portfolio for performance and profitability.
- Manage booking calendars across all listings.
- Plan booking windows proactively.
- Track revenue, commissions, and expenses.
- Support forecasting, profitability analysis, and business planning.
- Balance occupancy with Toronto's 180-day regulatory limits.
- Analyse demand, compliance policy, and occupancy for pricing strategy.
Operations
- Design internal systems and operational processes.
- Set and track performance targets for team members.
- Monitor Host Managers and co-host performance.
- Monitor Airbnb Host Dashboard, AirDNA, and internal reporting systems.
- Supervise contractors and ensure delivery against scope.
- Track KPIs, productivity, and operational performance.
- Act as the primary point of coordination between operations and the CEO.
- Provide the CEO with a clear, ongoing overview of business performance.
- Structure the company's growth roadmap and business timeline as it scales.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in operations, revenue management, or business operations.
- Master's degree qualification in business, finance, economics, hospitality management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret booking, occupancy, and revenue data and draw actionable insights.
- Experience with revenue management, pricing optimisation, or operations in hospitality, property management, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and report writing and comfort working with multiple software platforms.
- Solid organisational and time-management skills to handle remote full-time work while meeting deadlines and maintaining process accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting revenue processes and findings in English.
- Knowledge of short-term rental markets, property management operations, or local regulatory environments is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability.
