Hiring: Resident Engineer – Backup Administrator

🕒 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 2+ Years

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Resident Engineer – Backup Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in enterprise backup environments, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
- Daily backup monitoring and administration.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of backup failure is the key responsibility.
- Perform regular recovery testing to ensure data can be restored quickly and accurately.
- Daily backup report and analysis.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹:
- Should be strong knowledge on backup domain.
- Should have experience on backup integration/monitoring and day to day operations of backup.
- Hands on experience on both Tape Library and VTL based backup’s operations, such as Dell Networker or netbackup.
- Sound understanding of Database, Snapshots & File level backups will be preferred as that is needed for troubleshooting on failure as well as restore operations.
- Concepts should be clear on backup & Recovery design and strategy.

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in backup administration and operations.
