Description:
We are looking for an experienced Research & Development Chemist to join our team for the development and improvement of petroleum products, including engine oils and lubricants and Auto Care Products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new petroleum products, including engine oils and lubricants.
- Reformulate and improve existing products to enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Manage the product development process from formulation to commercialization.
- Conduct laboratory testing and performance evaluations to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, quality requirements, and company specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all research, development, testing, and formulation activities.
- Prepare and submit development reports to the Reporting Manager and Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the development of petroleum products, particularly engine oils and lubricants.
- Strong knowledge of lubricant formulations, additives, testing methods, and quality standards.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
