What you'll own
Incoming material QC
- Inspection of packaging materials — dimensions, print accuracy and artwork version, seal integrity, thickness, colour matching against approved standards
- Verification of raw material shipments against supplier COAs and internal specifications
- Sampling, testing and release decisions before GRN authorisation
- Management of quarantine, released and rejected material areas
- Vendor non-conformance reports and follow-through on supplier corrective action
In-process QC
- IPQC checks during compounding and filling — appearance, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, fill weight
- Line clearance verification before batch start
- Packaging line checks: label accuracy, batch coding, expiry printing, final seal
- Immediate hold authority on any line running out of specification
Finished goods & documentation
- Finished product testing against approved specifications before release to dispatch
- Certificate of Analysis preparation for domestic and export shipments
- Retention sample management and stability observation
- Batch manufacturing record review and sign-off
- Maintaining specification files, test methods and QC SOPs
What you need
- 3–5 years in QC within cosmetics, pharmaceutical or personal care manufacturing
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or a related discipline
- Hands-on lab experience — pH meter, viscometer, and standard physicochemical testing
- Working knowledge of GMP and documentation discipline
- Familiarity with export regulatory documentation (COA, specification sheets) is a strong advantage
- Willingness to hold a position under production pressure
