Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:

We are seeking experienced Senior SQA Engineer to own quality assurance across our mobile, web, and API platforms. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing, understands modern QA principles, and has a track record of building reliable test frameworks and processes.

*Key Responsibilities*

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API platforms.

Build and maintain robust automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

Perform all types of testing including functional, regression, integration, performance, smoke, and UAT.

Execute API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent tools.

Integrate automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Track, report, and manage defects through tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar bug tracking systems.

Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to improve test coverage, product quality, and delivery cycles.

Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices.

Prepare and present quality metrics, test results, and release readiness reports to stakeholders.

*Required Qualifications*

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance and testing across mobile, web, and APIs.

Strong expertise in test automation tools & frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress).

Solid hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) for automation.

Experience with CI/CD integration of automated tests.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA processes.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
