The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of mechanical materials and processes, possess analytical thinking, and demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills to support cost-efficient procurement operations. Candidates will be actively involved in sourcing, evaluating vendors, and maintaining purchasing records, playing a crucial role in ensuring timely material availability for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain knowledge of mechanical materials such as angles, channels, plates, and other components used in fabrication and construction.

• Understand and apply basic mechanical processes including casting, machining, and galvanizing in evaluating supplier offerings.

• Conduct local market visits to source materials and assess vendor capabilities and reliability.

• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, manage negotiations, and resolve issues.

• Ensure all materials meet required technical specifications and standards.

• Accurately use standard measurement units (mm, inches, etc.) for order accuracy and inventory control.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to record purchase details, perform comparative analysis, track pricing trends, and generate procurement reports.

• Work under guidance to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing aligned with project timelines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: DAE in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience: 0–1 year; fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Good understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes

• Strong command of Excel and data management tools

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

• Willingness to work in a field-based role with local travel as required
