Project Engineer

Description:

Nextreme Tech is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Industrial Automation Application) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical), along with 3 to 5 years of experience working with industrial automation systems. This role involves overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful delivery through coordination with project leads, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include designing, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning DCS, PLC, ESD, and F&G systems. The successful candidate will be expected to optimize HMI scripting, configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols, and ensure project milestones are met within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead industrial automation projects from concept to completion

• Design, program, and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems

• Commission and test ESD and F&G systems

• Optimize HMI scripting for improved functionality

• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols

• Ensure successful project delivery through collaboration with stakeholders

• Prepare documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and testing procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation applications

• Proficiency with MS Windows Server and MS Office

• Hands-on experience with L2/L3 networking (switches, routers, firewalls)

• Expertise in EPLAN/AutoCAD

• Knowledge of VB applications
