We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate who has minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Tent Manufacturing, Technical Textiles, Textile Products, Outdoor Products, or related industries to join our dynamic Product Development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve tent products, designs, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and modify tent patterns, templates, technical drawings, and product specifications.
- Prepare and review BOMs, cutting plans, measurements, and construction details.
- Conduct prototype development, fitting, testing, and product trials.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in design, functionality, durability, material utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Resolve technical and production-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop customized tents and textile products according to customer specifications.
- Evaluate fabrics, accessories, hardware, and other raw materials used in tent manufacturing.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Tent Pattern Making & Designing.
- Practical knowledge of tent construction, cutting, stitching, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to convert concepts/designs into production-ready patterns and prototypes.
- Knowledge of fabric behavior, GSM, strength, coating, waterproofing, and other textile properties.
- Understanding of CAD/design software for pattern and product development.
- Strong knowledge of product testing, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
Qualification
· B.E./B.Sc. in Engineering, Textile Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
A Master’s degree will be an advantage.
