Description:
We are looking for a Product Designer with a strong understanding of consumer products, industrial products, and 3D jewelry design. The ideal candidate should be able to develop products from concept to manufacturing while considering functionality, manufacturability, materials, and mechanical performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop consumer, industrial, and jewelry products using SolidWorks.
- Create high-quality 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation.
- Understand product manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, casting, and jewelry production workflows.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are practical and ready for manufacturing.
- Develop prototypes and refine designs based on testing and manufacturing feedback.
- Optimize products for functionality, cost, and manufacturability.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience designing consumer products and industrial products.
- Knowledge of products such as automotive components (e.g., suspension parts), household appliances (hair dryers, washing machines), mechanical assemblies, and CNC-manufactured parts.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of 3D jewelry design and jewelry manufacturing concepts is required. Experience with CAD modeling for jewelry is a plus.
- Strong understanding of how products are designed, assembled, and manufactured from concept to production.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
