Procurement Specialist

Description:

Tekboox is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team in Garden Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement within the Electrical or Electronics Engineering industry. This role involves managing procurement tasks, evaluating vendors, and working closely with the sales team to ensure competitive vendor quotes for customer proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily procurement tasks as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

• Evaluate material requirements and plan procurement activities to meet those needs.

• Convert Purchase Requisitions (PRs) into Vendor Purchase Orders using company systems such as CRM and D365.

• Identify, evaluate, and source potential vendors while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

• Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFP).

• Analyze vendor proposals, conduct commercial negotiations, and finalize vendor selections.

• Coordinate with the sales team to support customer proposals with competitive vendor quotes.

• Participate in pre-sales activities by engaging with vendors to support tender requirements.

• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.

• Track and manage order execution, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.

• 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience, ideally in a technical or engineering environment.

• Hands-on experience with procurement tools and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and CRM platforms.

• Strong understanding of the RFQ/RFP processes, vendor evaluation, and negotiation strategies.

• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities across different regions and time zones.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and stakeholder coordination.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in working with international vendors and handling global procurement operations.

• Knowledge of tender management and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with commercial and contractual terms in procurement.
