We are looking for a motivated Procurement Engineer (Civil) with experience in US-based construction projects to strengthen our procurement and supply chain team. If you have a strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and material procurement, this role is for you!
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement process for civil construction projects
Source, evaluate & negotiate with suppliers/vendors (local & international)
Ensure timely purchase of materials and equipment as per project requirements
Review project drawings & BOQs to prepare procurement schedules
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and estimation teams for material planning
Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with US construction standards & client specifications
Monitor costs and support budget control initiatives
🎯 Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience: 3–4 years in procurement (with minimum 1 year in US-based projects)
Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers & procurement cycles
Excellent negotiation, vendor management & communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in night shift operations
Proficiency in MS Office, procurement software, and ERP systems
Preferred Skills:
✔ Experience with US supplier databases & compliance standards
✔ Knowledge of cost control & budgeting techniques
✔ Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities
