Pro Video Editor

Description:

The Pro Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karāchi. The Pro Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos for YouTube and other digital platforms, ensuring smooth pacing, strong visual storytelling, and high production quality. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and arranging clips, adding transitions, integrating sound design and voiceovers, color correction and grading, and preparing final deliverables in required formats. The role also involves collaborating with scriptwriters and designers, aligning edits with thumbnails and titles, and optimizing content for audience engagement and retention. The Pro Video Editor will work closely with clients and team members to meet deadlines, maintain brand consistency, and continuously improve editing workflows.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong video editing skills using professional tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and visual effects, including basic proficiency in software like Adobe After Effects.
• Candidates should possess skills in color correction, color grading, and audio editing to deliver polished and cohesive final videos.
• Candidates should possess skills in storytelling, script interpretation, and pacing to craft engaging narratives for digital audiences.
• Candidates should possess skills in YouTube and digital content optimization, including understanding of thumbnails, titles, and viewer retention.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with creative teams and clients on-site in Karāchi.
• Relevant experience in professional video editing, a portfolio showcasing previous work, and familiarity with online content trends are highly beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field is advantageous but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
