Planning Manager

Description:

J&P Coats, a global name in the textile and industrial threads industry, is urgently hiring a Financial Analysis & Planning Manager to join its Karachi-based finance team. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional with in-depth FP&A and SAP (CO module) expertise who can deliver actionable insights through data-driven financial analysis and strategic planning.

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, costing, and operational efficiency evaluations. You will be responsible for leading core financial processes including payroll, finance closing, settlements, and various types of cost/sales analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a SAP (CO) power user, overseeing accurate cost reporting and allocations.

• Lead forecasting and planning processes aligned with business goals.

• Conduct sales and cost analysis, prepare NRV (Net Realizable Value) and SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete) analysis.

• Manage monthly financial closing, payroll processing, and intercompany settlements.

• Support finance leadership with strategic insights and financial modeling.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with internal controls.

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Costing roles.

• Qualified Accountant – ACCA, CIMA, or CA.

• Hands-on experience and expertise in SAP, specifically the Controlling (CO) module.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret large datasets.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• High level of integrity and proactive mindset in driving process improvements.
