Description:
The MEP Planning Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure timely project execution in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare detailed MEP project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
- Develop baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Monitor progress of MEP works and update schedules on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors for planning inputs.
- Identify delays, analyze impacts, and propose mitigation measures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Support project team in resource planning, sequencing, and work methodology.
- Assist in preparation of EOT claims, delay analysis, and progress presentations.
- Ensure planning aligns with overall project milestones and contractual requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience required in MEP planning works.
- Strong knowledge of MEP activities and sequencing.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
