Mechanical Engineer

Description:

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, integration, and packaging of a next-generation wearable device — NeuroSight RP.

This role involves developing a lightweight, high-performance smart glasses system with a strong focus on precision engineering, durability, and user comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complete mechanical architecture of smart glasses
• Develop frame, temple assemblies, and hinge mechanism
• Integrate PCB and internal components within tight form factors
• Design thermal management systems (heat spreaders, airflow if needed)
• Ensure IP67 environmental sealing and durability
• Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
• Support prototyping and iteration cycles

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in product design / hardware engineering
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools)
• Experience with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFMEA
• Knowledge of thermal analysis and material selection
• Experience designing compact, lightweight products
