Lead Proposal Engineer

Description:

Descon is seeking a highly skilled Lead – Proposals professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end proposal activities, ensuring timely, competitive, and technically sound submissions that align with client requirements and Descon’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Analyze client tender documents, specifications, and scope of work.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and estimation teams for proposal inputs.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
• Prepare risk assessments, cost estimates, and bid strategy.
• Communicate with clients for pre- and post-bid clarifications.
• Manage proposal timelines and ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
• 7–10 years of experience in proposals, tendering, or estimation, specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong understanding of technical and commercial evaluation criteria.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and proposal tools.
