As the Lead SEO Content Writer, you will take ownership of the agency’s content development efforts—crafting high-impact blog posts, website content, and social media articles that engage audiences and drive traffic. You will also play a pivotal role in developing strategic content plans, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with various departments to ensure consistent, quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a variety of SEO-optimized content including blogs, web pages, and social posts that align with audience needs and search engine algorithms

• Develop and implement advanced SEO content strategies that boost organic rankings and site visibility

• Lead internal brainstorming sessions and contribute to innovative content initiatives

• Collaborate with SEO analysts, designers, and marketing specialists to deliver unified, impactful campaigns

• Guide and mentor junior writers, provide editorial feedback, and help nurture their professional growth

• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice, and style guidelines

• Track team KPIs, monitor writing quality, and lead content optimization efforts

• Introduce new SEO tools, processes, and creative workflows to streamline team productivity

• Stay ahead of content and SEO trends to maintain the agency’s competitive edge

• Support client communication when required, interpreting needs into clear content strategies

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field

• 4 to 5 years of proven SEO content writing experience, preferably within an agency setting

• Strong grasp of SEO tools, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques

• Excellent command over English grammar, tone, and web-friendly writing

• Versatility in writing across industries and subject matters

• Leadership and mentoring capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high content standards

• Team-oriented with strong communication and coordination skills
