Knitting Manager

Klash (Pvt.) Ltd, a leading name in textile and apparel manufacturing, is currently hiring a highly skilled and experienced Knitting Manager to lead and optimize its knitting department based in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate must possess comprehensive technical expertise in double knit structures and have a proven track record in managing large-scale knitting operations.

The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing production on double knit machines, ensuring quality, optimizing machine efficiency, and leading a team of technicians. A strong grip on fabric properties, yarn behavior, and machinery troubleshooting is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all knitting operations focused on double knit machines, including Interlock, Rib, and Pique Scuba structures

• Ensure optimal machine performance by adjusting machine settings and minimizing downtime

• Monitor production output, quality parameters (loop length, GSM), and machine utilization to meet daily and monthly targets

• Lead a team of knitting technicians, providing clear instructions and training where necessary

• Make critical decisions during mechanical breakdowns and yarn-related quality concerns

• Ensure all fabrics produced meet established quality standards and customer expectations

• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams

• Promote continuous improvement practices, lean manufacturing, and efficient workflow management

• Stay updated with latest knitting technologies and integrate them into operations

Required Expertise:

• In-depth technical knowledge of yarn types, fabric behavior, and machine configuration

• Skilled in identifying and solving operational problems in real-time

• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills

• Strong understanding of industry quality assurance practices
