We're Hiring: Junior Solution Engineer

Squarera is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Junior Solution Engineer to join our growing team in Karachi. We are looking for an individual with strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, and the ability to take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish.

Location: Bahadurabad, Karachi
Work Mode: Onsite
Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL and data pipelines.
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Perform data validation, data cleansing, and troubleshooting.
• Support data warehousing and reporting requirements.
• Track and manage assigned tasks through Jira.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned data engineering tasks.

Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Good understanding of core data engineering concepts.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline concepts.
• Basic understanding of Jira or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
