Description:
As a Graphic Designer (with UI/UX Responsibilities) at SpotlightGB, you will be responsible for creating visually strong graphic content while also designing functional and user-friendly UI/UX layouts.
This role requires someone who is graphics-focused, but also comfortable working in Figma or Adobe XD, creating wireframes, UI layouts, and simple user flows. You will actively design UI/UX screens—not just assist others—though high-end UX research is not required.
Key Responsibilities
🎨 Graphic Design (Primary Focus)
- Design high-quality social media creatives, ads, banners, carousels, and thumbnails.
- Create marketing materials such as pitch decks, brochures, proposals, and brand decks.
- Design logos, icons, illustrations, and visual brand assets.
- Create website and landing page visuals aligned with brand identity.
- Maintain visual consistency across multiple brands and industries.
- Stay updated with modern graphic design trends.
🧩 UI/UX Design (Secondary but Active Responsibility)
- Design basic to intermediate UI/UX layouts for websites, landing pages, dashboards, and mobile screens.
- Create wireframes and visual UI designs using Figma or Adobe XD.
- Apply basic UX principles such as spacing, hierarchy, readability, and user flow.
- Design responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
- Convert ideas or rough requirements into clean, usable interface designs.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
🤝 Collaboration & Workflow
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and product teams.
- Manage multiple design tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Present design concepts clearly and accept feedback.
- Help improve internal design standards and visual quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design.
- Strong command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Solid design fundamentals (typography, color theory, layout, composition).
- Working knowledge of UI/UX design (not advanced).
- Experience using Figma and/or Adobe XD for UI layouts.
- Ability to design responsive web and mobile interfaces.
- Experience working with different industries (SaaS, corporate, real estate, lifestyle, etc.).
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
- Motion graphics or simple animations (After Effects, Canva Video).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (for better design-to-dev handoff).
- Experience with SaaS dashboards or CRM-style interfaces.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
