Financial Controller

Description:

Rehman Habib Consultants, a reputable firm in the engineering consultancy sector, is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join their Lahore head office. The ideal candidate will be a CMA, CIMA, or ACCA professional with 3 to 5 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably within the engineering consultancy or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

• Manage cash flow, monitor financial performance, and advise management on financial planning.

• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities for smooth audit and compliance processes.

• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.

• Lead financial risk management and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.

• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to ensure accurate project costing and profitability.

• Drive process improvements for financial efficiency and transparency.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional qualification: CMA, CIMA, or ACCA.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in engineering consultancy or construction sectors.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
