We are looking for a talented SQA Automation Engineer to strengthen our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance and maintain existing automation test frameworks and test suites.
- Perform various types of testing including regression, functional, smoke, API, and performance testing.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
- Document test progress and defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure complete test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
- Experience in scripting with Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Familiar with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, PyTest.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Comfortable with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and bug tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and the overall SDLC.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
