Environment & Social (e&s) Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Environment & Social (E&S) Engineer to support environmental and social compliance, reporting, and performance monitoring across infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects. This is a remote role, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review E&S reports, assessments, and monitoring plans
• Support ESIA / ESMP / E&S due diligence activities
• Track and report environmental & social KPIs
• Ensure compliance with IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, and local regulations
• Assist in stakeholder engagement, grievance mechanisms, and social impact tracking
• Contribute to audits, inspections, and corrective action plans
• Coordinate with project, HSSE, and data/analytics teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field
• Strong understanding of E&S frameworks (IFC, WB, Equator Principles, ESG)
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects preferred
• Good report writing and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
