Description:
The Engineering Change Order (ECO) Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating engineering change processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation of product and documentation revisions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to control, track, and communicate engineering changes that impact manufacturing, design, supply chain, and quality systems. The ECO Analyst ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements to maintain product integrity and configuration control.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end Engineering Change Order (ECO) process within ERP/PLM systems (initiation to closure)
- Review change requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
- Coordinate ECO review, approvals, release, and track implementation across departments
- Maintain engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications) with strict revision control and archiving
- Ensure proper versioning, naming conventions, and approval workflows
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and PM teams to assess change impact
- Facilitate cross-functional ECO reviews and communicate approved changes to stakeholders/suppliers
- Maintain ECO records, generate status reports, metrics, and management summaries
- Identify process improvements to optimize ECO cycle time and workflow efficiency
- Support audits with accurate documentation and full traceability
- Ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards; support training on ECO procedures and tools

Qualifications:
Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Experience: Knowledge of ERP software and methodology is a must.
Skills:
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ECOs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with complex BOM structures.
- Excel and Word proficient.
