Global Connect Synergy Pvt. Ltd. (GCS) is looking for a motivated and technically strong Network Engineer to join our Network Operations team.

The successful candidate will work in a professional ISP environment and gain hands-on experience in the operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise and service-provider networks.

🛠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔹 Network Operations & Infrastructure

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

• Work with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking technologies.

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of ISP network infrastructure.

• Perform network configuration changes, upgrades, and optimization activities.

🔹 Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth utilization, and service health.

• Identify and troubleshoot network outages, performance issues, routing problems, and connectivity failures.

• Analyze network alarms, logs, and monitoring alerts.

• Perform root-cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

🔹 NOC & Service Operations

• Participate in 24/7 rotational NOC operations.

• Handle network incidents and escalate issues when required.

• Coordinate with internal teams, field teams, vendors, and customers for service restoration.

• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, changes, and network activities.

• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation processes.

🔹 Network Security & Optimization

• Assist in implementing basic network security controls and best practices.

• Support firewall, access control, and network security operations.

• Identify network performance bottlenecks and assist in optimization.

• Help maintain network reliability, stability, and service quality.

🎓 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

✅ 1–2 years of experience in an ISP, NOC, Telecom, or Enterprise Network environment is preferred.

✅ Fresh graduates and candidates with internship experience may also be considered for junior/internship positions if they demonstrate strong networking knowledge and practical skills.
