Electrical Engineer

S M Saeed Associates (Pvt) Ltd, a trusted name in Loss Adjustment, Risk Assessment, and Insurance Claim Handling, is currently seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various insurance claim areas, including Engineering, Fire, Marine, Motor, and Banking sectors, providing practical exposure in field surveys and damage assessments.

This position involves extensive fieldwork, including on-site inspections, survey reporting, and loss evaluations, primarily for insurance purposes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical assessments, identifying damages, and assisting with accurate documentation and resolution of insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site surveys for damage assessment related to insurance claims

• Evaluate engineering and technical issues related to loss or damage

• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for insurers

• Collaborate with the internal technical and claims teams

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports

• Be available for on-call duties, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours, when required

• Travel to locations outside Karachi if needed

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields (Electronics, Industrial, or Metallurgy also eligible)

• PEC registration is mandatory

• Must own a motorbike

• Minimum one-year job commitment

• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call

• Willing to travel outside the city if required

Preferred Skills:

• Solid understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and technical diagnostics

• Experience or familiarity with insurance surveys, loss adjusting, or forensic engineering

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills

• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

• Good command over technical tools and Microsoft Office Suite
