Description:
Are you someone who can spot the exact moment in a video that makes people stop scrolling? We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Editor to turn long-form content into scroll-stopping short-form cutups (Reels/Shorts/TikTok).
What You'll Do:
- Watch long-form videos and identify the most engaging, high-retention moments
- Cut and package these moments into short-form clips using Descript and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Review narration/captions for 100% accuracy — zero grammar or spelling mistakes
- Craft strong hooks and smooth pacing that keep audiences watching
- Maintain consistency and quality across all cutups
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborate with the content team to stay aligned with brand direction
What We're Looking For:
- Strong English communication, grammar, and proofreading skills
- Good understanding of social media trends (Reels/Shorts/TikTok)
- Ability to spot engaging moments in long-form content
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Descript (mandatory)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work onsite in Karachi (remote not available)
