Draftsman

Description:

Alcon Technologies delivers medical gas pipeline systems, modular operation theatres, and sterilization and CSSD projects for hospitals and medical colleges across Pakistan. We are looking for a draftsman to prepare accurate drawings that our site teams and clients can build from.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts, shop drawings and as-built drawings for medical gas pipelines, AVSU and terminal units, OT and CSSD layouts, and related services
• Convert consultant and architect drawings into working drawings
• Update drawings after site changes and revisions, and keep a clear revision record
• Prepare material take-offs and quantity lists from drawings for estimating and quotations
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to resolve drawing queries
• Keep drawing files organised, named correctly and backed up

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical, Civil or Architectural Technology, or a bachelor's degree
• Fresh or 1 year years of drafting experience, preferably in MEP, HVAC or hospital projects
• Strong command of AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
• Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
