Devops Engineering Intern

As an intern with S&P Global DTS, you will undertake work on a real business project intended to add value to your team and our business, as well as provide you with a great learning opportunity.

DevOps Engineering Interns focus on bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. You will work to automate and streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Your role will involve collaborating with development teams to ensure efficient deployment and operation of software applications.

You will have the opportunity to experience a high level of collaboration and cross-training on a range of applications. We offer a collaborative, global, quality engineering team that is accustomed to helping one another learn and excel while working to continuously improve the level of quality delivered to our internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities Include
 

• Collaborating with development and operations teams to design and implement automated deployment processes
• Building and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Monitoring system performance and implementing improvements to enhance reliability
• Developing tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Participating in on-call rotations to support system reliability and incident response
• Collaborating with colleagues in design, product management, and systems architecture to develop solutions and bring great ideas to life
• Researching and evaluating proposed digital security and business solutions for adherence

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems.

• An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques, and technologies
• The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
• Be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in the country for which you apply
