Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Content Writer at DEFQON Digital in Lahore. The Content Writer will be responsible for SEO-optimised web content writing, content strategy development, research, writing, and proofreading. The role will also involve creating impactful and engaging content to support marketing programs and client initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging, high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Develop SEO-friendly content that improves organic search rankings and drives traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to optimize content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with business goals.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new strategies into content creation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them in content writing.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, etc.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
