Chief Information Security Officer

Description:

Bank Makramah is seeking a seasoned and highly strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its information security initiatives at the Head Office in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's information security framework to protect digital assets, systems, and data against internal and external threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive information security strategies aligned with business objectives

• Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability audits, and threat detection processes

• Lead compliance efforts with regulatory standards and security certifications

• Manage incident response plans and cyber crisis management

• Collaborate with IT, operations, legal, and executive leadership to ensure robust security governance

• Conduct regular security awareness training across the organization

• Evaluate and implement new cybersecurity technologies and frameworks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA
